Victoria and Patrick set their sights on the magical isle of Skiathos for their Greek destination wedding, and what a day it was! Their style was very fresh and minimal, with lots of botanical details to reflect the backdrop of their Greece wedding venue, surrounded by olive trees. In fact, olive was used as a theme throughout their decor: the bride carried a romantic peony and olive leaf bouquet, the groom wore an olive leaf boutonniere that complemented his light summer suit, the tables sported long olive runners alongside crisp white linen napkins and gold cutlery – even the favours were bottles of olive oil!
Elegant botanical wedding stationery was the perfect complement to the couple’s Grecian wedding style, so for their invitations, Victoria and Patrick opted for my ‘Laurel’ House Collection, which features a beautiful watercolour wreath that mirrored the olive leaf theme. We also added hot gold foiling to match the wedding colour palette of white, sage, and gold.
One element of the on-the-day wedding stationery was a table plan which was made up of circular cards, printed with greenery fronds that matched the invitation wreath, and were hung from a wooden hoop with olive green ribbon. I also created printed place tags, as well as custom monogram logo tags that were attached to the mini olive oil bottle favours and placed at each setting.
Congratulations to Victoria and Patrick on your beautiful day!
