beautiful tactile prints that give a first glimpse of your wedding day style

When it comes to the cost of your bespoke save the dates or invitations, like most things this can vary massively.
You wouldn’t go into a clothing shop and ask ‘how much are your shoes?’ because they will all vary in price…the same goes for stationery!

For bespoke White Olive save the dates and/or invitations you are not only investing in a custom design to perfectly suit your wedding style, you are also investing in a professional and reliable service that will take some of the stress away from your wedding planning journey.

From the private client design proof pages, approval systems and project management system, to the quality of the finished invitations, attention to detail and luxurious packages containing your prints. Every detail of the White Olive experience has been tailored to help you transform your ideas into a reality with no stress and a clear timeline of what you can expect from me at every stage. (Plus that moment of "Oh my God they're here!" when they arrive at your door!)

the investment

The design fee starts at £1000 for save the dates and/or invitations with the print/production costs in addition to this.

The design fee includes a moodboard to capture the tone and style of your day, 2-3 initial design concepts for you to choose from, a full design proof presented via a private online proofing system (with a digital mock up of how the finished prints will look), sourcing the perfect materials and finishes to bring your designs to life.

If you are looking to order wedding day stationery too (which most of my clients do!) to have everything from save the dates to your signage and thank you cards as a guide the bespoke design fee can be anything from £1000 – £3000 subject to your requirements (plus the print/production costs).

the design fee

The materials for stationery alone can vary from being a few pence per sheet to a few £s and then there’s the actual print process, any special finishes such as invitation suite assembly options and wax seals or calligraphy addressed envelopes etc.

A single ink print finish on 350gsm smooth paper is always going to be a much cheaper option than multiple print finishes such as hot foiling, letterpress printing, blind debossing and embossing on duplexed 700gsm+ paper which could be something like £7/8 per print for multiple finishes!

A bespoke White Olive invitation suite can range from anything between £12 – £25 each subject to the number of cards/inserts you need, the material, print finishes, assembly, finishing touches etc.

boxed acrylic beauties

bespoke design examples

Here are some examples of some of the bespoke wedding save the dates and invitation suites I've had the pleasure of creating for my clients...

The most luxurious of save the dates and invitation suites!
Boxed acrylic prints on a bed of blush rose petals in a beautiful white gift box to the ultimate opening experience for the guests. The invitation and save the date were printed on thick clear acrylic / perspex with white ink. For the additional cards, these were printed in a combination of hot foiling and ink printing and placed as a separate suite insitde the box lid, held together with a vellum bellyband and personalised monogram wax seal. Each invitation suite was personalised with the guest names in gold foil to show who was invited with each invitation suite.

tactile london suite

A modern invitation suite and save the date design with all the beautiful tactile finishes.
Printed with a combination of blind debossing, gold hot foil and letterpress these prints featured a custom illustration of the London skyline which was printed in a mix of blind impression on one side and hot foil on the other. The invitation suite featured a layered style with each card having the title at the bottom and the suite was secured with a gold pin.
For the monogram design the initials were intwined with each other with a triangle and 'x' which marked the couples 10 years together and the Bermuda Triangle, where they were from. A really personal touch to their designs!

gilt edged floral suite

Inspired by the couples love for flowers this raspberry, blush, white and grey invitation suite was the perfect fit for this elegant Caswell House wedding!
From custom venue illustrations of Caswell House, Bampton Church, map and even bespoke menu illustrations which were used as a favour for the guests, everything about this bespoke design oozed personality.
The invitation card was printed with a mix of ink printing, embossing and letterpress on super thick paper and finished with a gilt edge. The information card was a folded design with a detailed map illustration to help guests find their way to the two venues. Assembled in a vellum wrap with hand dyed silk ribbon, personalised calligraphy guest name tags and a custom wedding date gold wax seal the finished invitation suite had all the pretty trimmings!

rose gold elegance

Rose gold, white and blush are always a firm favourites with brides but this invitation suite was something else!
Super thick duplexed cards with rose gold gilt edges, rose gold hot foil, blush letterpress AND blind deboss peonies featured on all of the cards in the suite. To hold everything together a wide vellum bellyband was used with the couples wedding song lyrics in Spanish for a beautiful personal touch. To add the extra special finish the invitation also had a large hand dyed blush silk ribbon bow and the blush envelopes featured a custom monogram rose gold wax seal. Perfection!

tassels & texture

As a lover of beautiful tactile papers and finishes, this was a beauty to work on!
Super thick linen textured white card with a combination of letterpress in an amethyst purple colour and blind debossing for subtle detailing of the foliage and venue illustrations. The save the date and invitation suite were assembled with a soft tassel for an elegant finishing touch. Matching amethyst envelopes also featured the couples monogram in silver hot foiling on the flap to add that lovely personal detail and 'wow' when the invitations arrive to invite their guests.

handmade paper & letterpress

An absolute beauty of a stationery collection! Handmade papers are just stunning, with no two pieces being the same. Those soft deckled edges are the perfect option for a luxury barn wedding as they give a rustic, yet luxurious feel to the designs.
The save the dates and invitation suite were all letterpress printed on handmade paper. The information card featured a lovely dusky blush ink printed background which made the white ink really pop. The invitation suite was finished with a vellum wrap and confetti petal white wax seal. The venue illustration of Caswell House was the main feature on the designs and follows through to the wedding day stationery and signage too. A simplistic, minimal yet show stopping collection for this Cotswolds wedding.

"I WAS ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY BY THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND LEVEL OF EFFORT THAT WAS PUT INTO THE WEDDING STATIONERY DESIGNS. I HAD SET A DIFFICULT BRIEF BUT JACQUIE PULLED IT OFF EFFORTLESSLY! NOT ONLY DID THEY TURN OUT EXACTLY AS I HAD ORIGINALLY IMAGINED, THEY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!"
