Zeenat & Navid’s Elegant Luxe Wedding

[What a gorgeous wedding this was! Zeenat and Navid were married at Elmore Court, in a Persian/English fusion wedding that was modern and refined, but with elegantly opulent touches. For example, the sheer abundance of green and white flowers, and the luxury wedding stationery that the couple asked me to create for them. Having opted for a countryside venue outside the hustle and bustle of London, the bride and groom wanted to bring in lots of natural elements, but in a very timeless way. They chose a crisp palette of black, white, and green, with touches of gold, which worked beautifully. And with Zeenat in a showstopping Berta wedding dress and her dapper groom in a classic tux, they were the picture of black tie chic!

To go along with their black, white, green and gold colour palette, Zeenat wanted something clean and classic for her luxury wedding stationery design. The invitations lived up to the brief: classic and elegant, with gold foiling on premium white paper. They were finished with a custom monogram gold wax seal, and envelopes addressed by hand in gold calligraphy.

I also created a number of wedding day stationery items to match the invitation suite. For the table numbers, we kept things simple and clean, with ink printing on premium white card stock. Zeenat placed these in gold edged frames, which were the perfect finishing touch. At each place setting, she placed individual printed name cards. These also had the custom monogram gold seal used on the invitations, which really tied all the luxury wedding stationery items together.

One of my favourite details, however, was the table plan. This was made from a large ornate gold mirror frame, and was made up of individual table cards, finished with the gold wax seals. It made for a wonderful statement piece.
