Ah Provence! Is there anything more romantic than a destination wedding in the heart of this most beautiful region of France, dining in the open air amid the scent of lavender and the sound of cicadas? Swoon. Stacey and Ben chose a dreamy French wedding venue, Château Grimaldi, for their destination wedding in Provence. Olive trees and centuries-old oaks surround this historic site, which was built among the ruins of a 16th-century castle. As well as their ceremony and reception in the stunning grounds, Stacey and Ben also held a farewell barbeque at the property the following day. I absolutely loved creating their wedding stationery, and seeing how exquisitely it all turned out!

For their save the dates and wedding invitations, Stacey and Ben chose one of my formerly available customisable House Collections, with a waterproof wash, transparent blue hot foil details, and botanical illustrations. These were the perfect design elements for a destination wedding in Provence!

I also created a set of bespoke destination wedding stationery for the big day. These pieces all had the same style as the invitations, to ensure a sense of continuity across the paper goods. For the outdoor tables, I created menus printed with ink and personalised for each guest with hand written calligraphy in grey ink. I also made beautiful metallic blush wax seals, which Stacey used to attach small sprigs of pampas grass to the menus.

Another matching element I created was the table numbers, which Stacey placed in thin, brass frames on the long tables. They looked elegantly rustic amongst the low candles and fragrant blooms. To help guests find their places, the couple also planned a sweet display, with rustic hoops hanging from a tree, and glass vessels filled with candles and sprays of pampas grass and greenery. I created individual calligraphy name tags, which were attached to the hoops to make a table plan.
