If you follow White Olive Design Studio on social media (and if you don’t, I hope you will!), you might have seen me mention a pretty major change to my wedding stationery offerings. Earlier this year, I decided to remove my customisable House Collection designs as a service option. That change has now been made, which means that I am now exclusively focusing on bespoke wedding invitations and save the dates.
Focusing on bespoke wedding stationery hasn’t been an easy decision, and it is one I thought long and hard about before making. But in the end, it is also the decision I know is right for me and my business right now.
Over the past few years, I have put a LOT of time, love, and energy (not to mention the cost) into putting my House Collections together. But, while I love them as they so perfectly reflect my design style, and they have done extremely well, I’m now in the fortunate position of getting more and more bespoke wedding stationery design enquiries. With two young children and a business to run, it’s often a real juggling act, so I’ve decided to focus on these for the time being.
Although change is always scary, I’m super excited about this one! My absolute favourite thing as a designer is to create something completely from scratch. I love working with couples to bring their love story, personalities and wedding to life in paper form, creating beautiful pieces that are a talking point from the minute they’re posted through the letterbox. After all, each couple is unique, and you deserve bespoke wedding invitations and save the dates to reflect that! The design process is also such a special collaboration. You’ll be amazed at how many options there are to choose from, from beautifully tactile cardstock to envelopes embellished with modern calligraphy, to watercolour maps that immortalise your wedding location.
I may introduce some customisable designs in the future, but, for now at least, my design service will be purely for those who are looking for a bespoke design for their wedding stationery and signage.
Here’s to an exciting future for White Olive Design Studio!!
