Kim and Tom were married at a gorgeous country venue not far from me, The Great Barn in Aynho. To suit their theme of rustic elegance, they chose my original Eucalyptus invitations and wedding stationery in shades of white and mint, to tie in with the bridesmaid dresses and other details. It was an apt choice, as the couple embraced greenery and foliage throughout their décor. There were strands of eucalyptus and white flowers everywhere, including the modern ceramic vases and tall copper stands on the tables, and the lovely loose bouquets carried by the bride and her attendants. The result was natural and beautiful, melding indoors with outdoors, and working in perfect harmony with the rustic textures of the venue.
The Eucalyptus wedding invitations (similar to those pictured above) were printed on white card, with watercolour botanical illustrations and a custom monogram logo. I’ve recently refreshed the design of this House Collection to include a new Eucalyptus spray illustration, and a slightly more modern monogram wreath – be sure to check it out!
Kim and Tom also asked me to create their wedding day stationery, including menus, place settings, and a table plan. The menus were placed in gorgeous copper stands on each table, while the large A1 table plan was set up on a wooden easel and decorated with real eucalyptus sprays. The place setting cards were each tied with a delicate pale grey ribbon, and set on the napkin at each place. (You can order updated versions of the Eucalyptus collection menus, place cards, table numbers, and table plan in my shop!)
As an extra special finishing touch, Kim had favour bags made with the couple’s Eucalyptus invitations monogram logo printed on it. This kind of detail really ties the whole look together. In fact, I love to see my couples use their custom monograms in creative ways! I’m always happy to help you come up with fun ideas like this.
