Floral Bespoke Luxury Wedding Invitations - White Olive Design Studio

I absolutely love working on bespoke luxury invitations for my clients! Today I want to share this romantic floral wedding invitation suite that I created for Charlotte and Gareth’s elegant country wedding at Caswell House in the Cotswolds. This couple were very specific about wanting to capture certain elements from their wedding day and have them incorporated into the invites. This is such a wonderful way to create a taster for your guests of what’s to come! I’m thrilled with how they turned out.

To create the look that Charlotte and Gareth wanted, the wedding invitations needed to be luxurious, with splashes of colour and premium finishes. We also decided on several hand drawn illustrations. The colours they chose were a gorgeous combination of white, raspberry, and dusky pink. Most importantly, I needed to include floral details throughout the design that reflected the stunning array of flowers they will have on the wedding day. (I can’t wait to see them!) Specifically, I incorporated pink hydrangea, pale pink sweet avalanche roses, ivory spray roses, ivory antirrhinum, ivory avalanche roses, ivory hydrangea, raspberry pink spray roses, pale pink astilbe, and pale pink astrantia, as well as parvifolia, salad foliage, asparagus fern and eucalyptus cinneria foliage. To really make these floral details pop (as well as the couple’s names), we used a super thick card with embossing. Gold gilt edges provided a luxurious final touch.

The invitation suite also included a details card and RSVP card. For the details card, we used a concertina format. This isn’t my usual style, but it worked so well with all the information that needed to be included, plus a full page spread for the custom map illustration. We also reused the illustration of the church where the couple will wed on the envelope liners, which is such a pretty and personal touch! The RSVP card also had custom illustrations, including a little lamb and fish for guests to tick which meal option they wanted. Such a lovely touch! The bespoke luxury invitations were assembled with a vellum wrap, hand dyed silk ribbon, and a custom wax seal with the wedding date. This seal also held a calligraphy guest name tag in place.
